Étude des pratiques d’une enseignante sur les notions de contenance et de volume en CM2 en éducation prioritaire

Abstract

In this article, we analyze a session of class concerning the notions of volume, from a teacher practicing in socially disadvantaged zone, to 10-11-year-old pupils (grade 5). It is about a case study (among others joining a research project on the transition school / middle school) which aims at studying the effect of the practices of the teacher on the learnings of the pupils. The study of the session and the tests which we led, drive us to first conclusions on the teaching practices and on the necessity of a more advanced training in didactics of the sciences for the teachers.
